Whether you’re exploring Uploft, signing up for updates, or using our platform to create and export designs, this policy explains how we collect, store, and protect your data. No hidden clauses, no confusing language - just a transparent overview of how we handle information responsibly.
1. What We Collect
Uploft collects only the information needed to run the platform, improve the experience, and communicate with you when relevant.
This may include:
Basic account info (name, email, password)
Usage data (pages visited, clicks, device type, browser, etc.) to help us understand how people use Uploft
Project-related content you upload — like images, files, and export assets
Preferences, feedback, or support messages you send us through email or in-app forms
If you contact us directly, we may store the information you choose to share so we can respond and support you properly.
2. What We Use It For
We use your data for a few practical reasons:
To operate and improve the Uploft platform
To respond to questions or support requests
To communicate account-related updates (not spam)
To understand what features matter most, so we can build a better product
To send occasional updates about new tools, features, or improvements if you opt in
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with third-party advertisers.
We’re building software, not a data business.
3. How We Store It
Data you provide to Uploft is stored securely in trusted cloud services.
Access is limited to the team members who need it to maintain and improve the platform.
We use secure systems and modern encryption standards for:
Databases
Authentication
File storage
Project files you upload are stored to support exports, versioning, and backups — not for us to reuse.
4. Third-Party Tools
To deliver certain features, Uploft integrates trusted third-party tools such as:
Google Analytics / Plausible — anonymous usage insights
Stripe — secure payment processing
Cloudflare — hosting, security, and file storage
Postmark / Email services — account notifications
Support tools to help us reply faster
These tools may collect basic technical data needed to run their service, but we don’t give them access to your personal information unless it’s necessary to provide the function (e.g., billing).
5. Cookies
Uploft may use simple cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how people use the platform.
You can disable cookies in your browser if you prefer a fully anonymous experience.
Some features may not work correctly without them.
6. Your Rights
At any time, you can:
Ask what data we have about you
Request a copy of your data
Ask us to delete your account and all stored assets
Unsubscribe from communications
Reach us at: support@uploft.app
No complex forms. No hoops.
7. Data Retention
If you have an active Uploft account, we keep your data so the platform works as expected.
If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and associated files from our systems, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or security reasons.
If you sign up but never use the product, unused accounts may be automatically removed after a reasonable period.
We don’t keep anything longer than we need to.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect improvements in features, security, or legal requirements.
If major changes happen, we’ll notify you through the platform or email.
